Are you over-indulging in the sweet treats? Are you getting plenty sleep and doing exercise regularly? Treating the cause is the base to removing Cellulite altogether. It is important to get a protein & fiber-rich diet, drink 8-10 glasses of water daily, consume healthy fats like Coconut Oil, Sesame Oil & Ghee, and go to bed by 10pm at the latest. Also its essential to meditate & calm the mind for atleast 20 minutes each day to curb the negativity of our stressful lives. Ayurvedic Treatment for Cellulite In addition to the above mentioned preventative measures, one should massage the affected areas daily with Sesame Oil. This heating oil will help to digest the accumulated fat, whilst promoting healthy growth of skin by repairing damaged, loose tissue. After doing this daily massage, known as Abhyanga in Ayurveda, you may gently steam the area for 5-10 minutes. Swedana, as it is known in Vedic texts, promotes circulation and blood flow, which will help to heal damaged tissue and remove toxins from the skin. It is also important to exercise for at least 30 minutes each day. Weight training will help to tone the muscles and improve elasticity of the skin. Also doing Yoga Asanas strengthen the body and firm up the saggyness. At least 20 rounds of Surya Namaskar must be done daily.
